ABC Cares Supports Texas Flood Relief
August 13, 2025ABCI welcomed 40 enthusiastic students from the Junior Achievement Pre-Apprenticeship Program to ABC Institute from June 16-19 for an intensive, hands-on experience exploring the electrical trade.
These young learners immersed themselves in a rigorous 4-day course, gaining exposure to real-world electrical training through our ABCI Apprenticeship College. With guidance from experienced instructors, each student built their own working electrical box and successfully wired it to power a functioning light switch.
The students utilized professional-grade Milwaukee Tools and wore appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure their safety while learning critical skills. The energy, focus, and determination they demonstrated throughout the program reflected the bright future of our industry, and we were proud to be part of their journey.
This event was more than just an introduction to the trades. It was a spark that ignited passion and direction for young individuals choosing their career path. We looked forward to seeing these future electricians return to ABC Institute as full-time apprentices in the near future.
