ABC-FEC Endorses Candidates for Miami’s Runoff Election

ABC-FEC has announced its endorsements for candidates in the December 9^th municipal elections in the City of Miami. Our endorsed candidates, Emilio T. Gonzalez (Mayor) and Rolando Escalona (Commission, District 3), have both advanced to the runoff election.

Colonel González’s distinguished 26-year military career and his proven record of integrity and public service align with ABC-FEC’s core values. Endorsed by Governor Ron DeSantis, González has demonstrated decisive leadership defending voter rights and advocating for reform, transparency, and accountability in government.

Escalona is a Cuban-American entrepreneur and realtor based in Miami, currently general manager of a Brickell hospitality venue. He runs for commissioner on a platform of infrastructure renewal, small-business support, and transparent governance, drawing on his immigrant-startup journey to connect with the community.

Together, these candidates represent a vision of principled leadership that keeps Florida building its future, based on merit.

While Hialeah Interim Mayor Jacqueline Garcia-Roves did not advance to the runoff, ABC-FEC is grateful for her support and friendship and wishes her continued success in her future endeavors.
