
ABC’s Construction Backlog Indicator Inches Higher in December

Associated Builders and Contractors was represented in Tucson by: ABC Cares Foundation, ABC Central Texas, ABC Florida East Coast, ABC Heart of America, ABC Keystone, and ABC of Western Washington.
A group of chapter staff and presidents attended the Institute for Organization Management Winter Institute, held Jan. 4-8, 2026, at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
Hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, IOM is designed to strengthen the professional knowledge and leadership skills of association and nonprofit executives. Participants earned credit hours toward professional certifications, including the Certified Association Executive and Certified Chamber Executive designations, and gained practical insights to support effective chapter operations.
Associated Builders and Contractors was represented in Tucson by: ABC Cares Foundation, ABC Central Texas, ABC Florida East Coast, ABC Heart of America, ABC Keystone, and ABC of Western Washington. Florida’s East Coast Chapter was represented by Sonny Maken, COO; Jerry Higgins, VP of Information Technology; and Adolfo Salgueiro, Director of Communications. ABC Foundation was represented by its Director of Development, Aaron Palazzolo.
