Palm Beach County Commission Candidate Visits ABC-FEC and ABCI

Palm Beach County School District Board Member Erica Whitfield, a candidate for Palm Beach County Commission District 2, recently visited ABC Florida East Coast and the ABC Institute Apprenticeship College to learn more about the organization’s workforce expansion efforts and our role in strengthening the construction industry.

Whitfield met with ABC-FEC President & CEO Peter Dyga, COO Sonny Maken, ABCI Director of Education Alberto Altamiranda, and other association leaders to gain insight into the Institute’s training programs. As a leading voice for the merit shop construction industry, ABC-FEC remains a key stop for candidates running for public office seeking the association’s endorsement and wanting to better understand the issues impacting the industry.
