ABC-FEC Welcomes a New Era at Broward College

ABC Florida East Coast joined the Broward community in honoring the Presidential Investiture of Torey Alston as the eighth President and CEO of Broward College. The formal ceremony at Bailey Hall in Davie welcomed more than 900 distinguished guests and carried the rich symbolism and tradition that mark transcendental moments of leadership transition.

Representing ABC-FEC were President & CEO Peter Dyga, COO Sonny Maken, Director of Education Alberto Altamiranda, Director of Government and Political Affairs TJ Long, ABC-FEC Board Members Howard Newman, and ABCI’s Immediate Past Chair Israel Silva. Their presence reflected the high regard our association holds for President Alston’s leadership.

ABC-FEC extends its warmest congratulations to President Alston and wishes him immense success as he leads Broward College into a new era of innovation, service, and community impact.
