New Members Dive Into ABC-FEC’s Mission, Impact, Value, and Vision

New and longtime members came together for a dynamic ABC Florida East Coast onboarding luncheon that showcased the full value of membership. The event served as a meaningful first step for new members to immerse themselves in the mission, programs, and community that define ABC-FEC, and offered veteran members a chance to reconnect and guide the next generation of industry leaders.

Hosted by VP of Member Services Jay Sweeney and Wendy Gonzalez, Director of Membership Recruitment and Retention, with remarks from President & CEO Peter Dyga and COO Sonny Maken, the session featured informative briefings from the Government Affairs, Communications, ABC Cares Foundation, ABC Institute, and Events teams. Each department shared key opportunities and benefits, helping attendees understand how to engage more deeply with the organization and maximize their investment.

The day wrapped up with a guided tour of the ABC Institute labs, where participants witnessed firsthand the critical role ABC-FEC plays in shaping the skilled workforce of tomorrow.
