U.S. Senator Rick Scott’s Regional Director Visits ABCI

Erin Dever, Southwest Florida Regional Director for U.S. Senator Rick Scott, recently visited ABC Institute (ABCI) to learn more about its apprenticeship education programs

and training across seven construction trades. The visit provided an opportunity to highlight how industry-led training supports workforce readiness and economic growth.

During the tour, Dever expressed a strong interest in ABCI’s recent purchase of its Hialeah campus, noting the expanded capacity it creates to train more apprentices and help address the ongoing workforce shortage facing the construction industry. ABC-FEC appreciates the continued support from Senator Scott’s office and looks forward to engaging further at the 2026 ABC National Legislative Conference.
