ABC-FEC and Space Florida Form Historic Partnership to Advance Aerospace and Construction Workforce Development

On April 30, 2025, ABC Florida East Coast (ABC-FEC) and Space Florida signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Cape Canaveral, laying the foundation for a new regional headquarters and expanded training presence on Florida’s Space Coast. The agreement was signed by Peter Dyga, President & CEO of ABC-FEC, and Robert Long, President & CEO of Space Florida, in front of dignitaries and industry powerhouses including Lockheed Martin and Boeing, signaling broad support for this forward-looking initiative.

The partnership between Space Florida and ABC’s education arm, the ABC Institute Apprenticeship College (ABCI), represents a strategic alignment of the construction and aerospace sectors.
