On April 30, 2025, ABC Florida East Coast (ABC-FEC) and Space Florida signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Cape Canaveral, laying the foundation for a new regional headquarters and expanded training presence on Florida’s Space Coast. The agreement was signed by Peter Dyga, President & CEO of ABC-FEC, and Robert Long, President & CEO of Space Florida, in front of dignitaries and industry powerhouses including Lockheed Martin and Boeing, signaling broad support for this forward-looking initiative. The partnership between Space Florida and ABC’s education arm, the ABC Institute Apprenticeship College (ABCI), represents a strategic alignment of the construction and aerospace sectors. The MOU outlines a shared commitment to workforce training, skilled trades education, and infrastructure development to support the state’s rapidly growing space and aerospace industries. This partnership reflects ABC FEC’s mission to deliver member value through innovation, collaboration, and workforce excellence, positioning our members to lead in tomorrow’s most critical industries.
