ABC FEC and ABC Institute Board members recently attended the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches luncheon featuring Acting U.S. Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling. He outlined the administration’s workforce priorities. ABC FEC leaders also connected with community and government leaders attending the event.
Acting Secretary Sonderling emphasized about skilled careers and workforce development, which closely aligns with ABC FEC’s mission. The Department of Labor has made Registered Apprenticeship and skills-based training central to its workforce strategy. Through ABC Institute’s apprenticeship and craft training programs, we are preparing electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other skilled professionals for Florida’s growing construction workforce.
