April 14, 2026Coconut Creek, FL (April 13, 2026)— Associated Builders and Contractors Florida East Coast (ABC-FEC) is pleased to announce that President and CEO Peter Dyga has earned recertification as a Certified Association Executive (CAE), the highest professional credential in the association management industry.

The CAE designation, awarded by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), recognizes professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and commitment necessary to lead and grow member-based organizations. To maintain the credential, individuals must complete ongoing professional development and reaffirm their commitment to ethical standards and continued learning.
“Peter’s recertification exemplifies the level of leadership and professionalism that defines ABC Florida East Coast,” said Brian Sudduth, Chairman of the Board of ABC Florida East Coast. “His commitment to staying at the forefront of association management helps ensure that our organization continues to evolve and deliver meaningful value to our members and the commercial construction industry as a whole.”
Dyga has served as President and CEO of ABC-FEC for more than 14 years, leading one of Florida’s largest commercial construction trade associations. Under his leadership, the chapter has expanded its workforce development and apprenticeship programs, strengthened member engagement, and reinforced its role as a leading advocate for the merit shop construction industry from Key West to Brevard County.
The CAE credential is held by a select group of association professionals nationwide and is widely recognized as a mark of leadership, experience, and professional achievement within the association community.
