Associated Builders and Contractors Florida East Coast COO Sonny Maken Named to Palm Beach County Fair Housing/Equal Employment Board
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – (May 22, 2024) Associated Builders and Contractors Florida East Coast Chapter (ABC-FEC) is proud to announce that Chief Operating Officer Sonny Maken has been appointed to the Palm Beach County Fair Housing/Equal Employment Board. He will serve on the board from May 14, 2024 until September 30, 2026. The goal of the Board is to ensure fair and equitable treatment in housing and employment opportunities, promoting non-discrimination and equal access for all individuals.
“I am honored to join the Palm Beach County Fair Housing/Equal Employment Board,” said Maken. “Helping residents find somewhere to live and a place to work are two of the most fundamental building blocks for a thriving society and I am certain that together we can work to create opportunity, combat discrimination and enact meaningful change.”
Maken received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. He also holds his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
