One of the most rewarding parts of my job is watching an opportunity change someone’s life. Recently, a young man named Raul walked into ABC Institute in search of a chance to build a future. What stood out immediately was not his experience, but his attitude. He was respectful, eager to learn, coachable, and ready to work. After meeting with him, I contacted one of our member companies, and by the end of the day, he was on a jobsite beginning his journey in the construction industry.
Stories like Raul’s are why ABC Institute exists. Every day, we work to identify motivated individuals, prepare them through programs like Ready-Set-Build, and connect them with employers looking for talent. Thanks to partners like Pegasus Painting & Waterproofing, we are helping students discover meaningful careers while providing our industry with the skilled workforce it needs to grow and thrive.
