ABC-FEC and ABCI recently hosted Florida Senator Alexis Calatayud and State Representative Debra Tendrich at our Coconut Creek headquarters. Both elected officials are strong advocates for education and workforce development.

Ms. Calatayud is passionate about education and boosting funding for vocational programs. She serves as Chair of the Education Postsecondary Committee in the Florida Senate. Representative Tendrich champions initiatives that support community growth and industry innovation. She serves on the Student Academic Success Subcommittee.

During their visits, Senator Calatayud and Representative Tendrich toured the ABC Institute facilities and connected with ABC-FEC leadership and Board members. They explored the impactful programs shaping the future of Florida’s industries. Their support strengthens our mission and commitment to excellence.
