ABC-FEC President and CEO Peter Dyga continues to serve as a leading voice for commercial construction in South Florida, with his Letter to the Editor published by The Palm Beach Post over Labor Day weekend. In “Celebrate Florida’s Construction Workforce,” Dyga highlighted the people building Florida’s future and the importance of the merit shop philosophy.
Dyga noted that 97% of Florida construction workers are nonunion and emphasized worker choice, apprenticeship, skills training and career opportunities. His commentary continues ABC-FEC’s work to bring the commercial construction industry’s perspective to important public conversations.
