ABC-FEC recently held its final candidate interview with Casey Askar (R), who is running for the new Congressional Seat in District 22. The newly drawn district encompasses portions of Broward County (42%), Palm Beach County (25%), and Collier and Hendry counties (18%).
During the interview, Mr. Askar discussed several key issues, including his concerns regarding immigration and the need for a structured legal process. He also addressed concerns about rising construction costs and their impact on the industry.
Mr. Askar expressed his commitment to maintaining Florida as a free-market, free state. If elected, he looks forward to partnering with ABC to support the association’s priorities and advance initiatives that benefit its members and the construction industry.
