The Future Apprenticeship in Florida Has Begun

The ABC Institute Apprenticeship College (ABCI) recently marked a momentous milestone with the dedication of its new Miami-Dade County Flagship Campus, a 23,000-square-foot facility located in Hialeah that will stand as Florida’s premier apprenticeship hub. What began as a vision to expand apprenticeship education has become a reality, signaling a new era for workforce development in the Sunshine State.

This landmark occasion was celebrated with the presence of Florida State Senator Ana Maria Rodriguez, Hialeah Mayor Jackie Garcia-Roves, Miami-Dade County Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz, State Representative for District 111 Tom Fabricio, and State Representative for District 110 David Borrero. All elected officials joined ABC leaders in recognizing the impact this flagship campus will have on Florida’s skilled trades and shared their perspectives on the future of workforce training.

The event also welcomed ABC-FEC and ABCI Board of Directors, the entire staff, and many special guests, underscoring the collaborative spirit that drives our mission.
