ABC Florida East Coast Announces 2026 General Election Endorsements

ABC-FEC endorses candidates across Brevard, Indian River, Martin, St. Lucie, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties

IMG 3244COCONUT CREEK, Fla. — Associated Builders and Contractors Florida East Coast (ABC-FEC) has announced its endorsements for the November 3, 2026 General Election. They support candidates who share ABC’s commitment and values of free enterprise, open and fair competition, workforce development, safety and the merit shop philosophy.

The endorsements were made following a candidate questionnaire, review, and interview process conducted by the ABC-FEC’s Government and Political Affairs team and the Legislative Committee. Candidates were evaluated based on their positions on issues important to Florida’s commercial construction industry, including workforce development, apprenticeship education, permitting, regulation, economic growth and open competition.

“Our members build the schools, hospitals, ports, warehouses and offices this region depends on, and they employ hundreds of thousands of Floridians in careers that do not require a traditional four-year degree,” said Peter Dyga, President and CEO of ABC Florida East Coast. “The candidates on this slate understand that a strong construction economy depends on open competition, a trained workforce, and a permitting process that works. We encourage our members to share this information with their employees and for them to vote for our endorsed candidates.”

ABC-FEC’s endorsements span federal, state and local races throughout the chapter’s footprint. The chapter has made its 2026 General Election political endorsement cards available online, organized by county and region, to provide members and the broader community with a convenient resource for the November election.
